About me
Jeremy Osborn is a designer, educator and writer living in the Boston
area. In his current role as Director of Content at AGI Training,
Jeremy develops interactive and web projects for a number of clients
and has authored more than 75 tutorial videos on creative software for
clients including Microsoft and Total Training. Previously he
worked at the Boston-based company Aquent where he was Director of
Training and managed a group of print and web instructors across the
country.
Jeremy specializes in web and interactive design and is a
web standards advocate with expert level skills in Xhtml and CSS. He
currently consults with clients on web strategy, usability testing,
prototyping and creative direction.
While at Aquent, Jeremy authored Digital Classroom Dreamweaver CS4, which was published by Wiley in 2009. He has recently completed the Dreamweaver CS5 edition, due for release in June 2010, and is working on another book on web
design. His additional writing credits include multiple contributions
to Adobe's Classroom in a Book series such as InDesign CS2, Premiere
Elements and others.
In 2005 Jeremy helped launch the Graphic & Web Design
program at the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University. In his role as program director, he developed curriculum, managed a
group of talented instructors and taught in the classroom.
Over the
years Jeremy has spoken at a number of conferences and user groups and
has consulted and presented at a number of companies including Sony,
Canon, Entertainment Weekly and Harvard Business Review. He holds
an MS from the Graduate Center of Marlboro College and a BFA in
Film/TV from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.
