	  <title><![CDATA[David H Wells]]></title>
	  <description><![CDATA[<p>David H. Wells is a freelance documentary photographer and photo educator, based in Providence, RI. He is affiliated with Aurora Photos (www.auroraphotos.com) and specializes in intercultural communications and the use of light and shadow to enhance visual narratives. His focus is on photo essays, which have been shown in exhibitions and publications around the world.</p>
<p>David has been the recipient of two Fulbright fellowships, a grant from Nikon/N.P.P.A. and a fellowship from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. His work has been published as portfolios in <em>American Photographer</em>, <em>Camera and Darkroom</em>, <em>Camera Arts</em> and <em>Zoom</em>, among others. His work has been in over 50 exhibitions and can be seen at www.davidHwells.com.</p>
<p>David teaches workshops around the world and recently launched an online educational tool with video podcasts and other useful information for photographers called The Wells Point (thewellspoint.com).</p>
