About me

I am an experienced 3D artist and educator currently employed as the Lead Look Developer for Lightcraft Technologies LLC. My responsibilities include real-time shader authoring and 3D content generation.

Starting at the Digital Animation and Visual Effects School in Orlando, FL, I recreated and taught the Graduate Maya program for returning alumni. The course focused on training LightWave users in Maya so students would be conversant in both 3D content packages. While in Orlando I also authored a texturing DVD with KURV Studios LLC titled Advanced Photoshop Texturing. In addition, I was a 3D Animation and Games instructor at Boston University, where I created the game art curriculum for the school, and an instructor of record and course developer for Introduction to Animation at Purdue University, where I also received an MS in Computer Graphics Technology, specializing in ray-trace rendering and GPGPU ray tracing.

I am also an Autodesk-certified instructor of Maya since 2004, have taught ZBrush to modeling artists at Hasbro and even started my career as a texture artist at EA Sports.
