About me
Louise Michaud, based in Salem, MA, provides award-winning wedding photography, portraiture and digital photography workshops for her clients. Formerly of Derby Studios, she is considered one of the best photographers on the North Shore of Boston and has received numerous awards including the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Photojournalism Award, two Kodak Gallery Awards, and four Fuji Masterpiece Awards. For the last three years, she has also been selected as ‘one of only 20 freelancers for Canon Camera in the USA’.
Louise's work has been published in two books and numerous magazines including Studio Photography & Design, PEM Magazine, Boston Common Magazine, Boston Bride, Atlanta Bride, and Elegant Wedding. She has taken her award-winning style into the classroom, teaching photography classes to professionals, semi-pros, and hobbyists alike. Louise has been a regular lecturer on behalf of Professional Photographers of America and speaks at events across the United States.
