There are four learning communities for you to explore: Commons, Mentorships, Workshops and The Institute. When you have created your account and logged in, click on 'Our Communities,' select 'Commons' and join the 'General Community.'

After joining the General Community feel free to join any other community you are interested in! Remember that the Mentorships, Workshops and Diplomas are all paid for learning communities.

*Please note, IDMA requires you to have a completed profile as part of your membership agreement. This includes a real photo of yourself as well as an updated "about me" section.

The Commons is a free social learning network for ALL digital media artists available anytime, anywhere. The unique courses provided in Mentorships, Workshops, and the Institute are available at specific times and costs. Check out the programs of study for details on these courses.

In the Commons you can:

Using the Commons is easy! All you have to do is create your Profile and learn how to use the tools.

Create Your Profile. Your profile is very important, both to you and everybody in the Commons. Make it top priority – it's the key to finding other people and content that interest you.
