The skills involved in doing good street photography apply to most kinds of photography outside of a studio. Learning how to work rapidly and unobtrusively in busy environments with minimal equipment and maximum adaptability will serve any photographer well. Similarly, every photographer working on location would love to improve their ability to quickly analyze the quality/direction of light,frame/compose the image as they anticipate the unfolding activity.
